Community Team ManagerDepartment: Penrose Criminal Justice Services
Work Location: North London
Hours per week: 37.5
Shift pattern: 9am - 5pm
Penrose Criminal Justice Services are recruiting for a Community Team Manager based in North London.
Working in partnership with the London Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) and MTCNovo, our service supports adult males sentenced to a custodial order to resettle into the community and to break the cycle of reoffending. We provide guidance and support with a wide range of issues, from accommodation to training to financial advice, signposting our clients to relevant services in their area, as well as supporting them with any referral processes. We engage with agencies both within the CRC and across London, tailoring a package of support to best meet each individual’s needs. Our Responsible Officers are trained in risk management and de-escalation and can also initiate enforcement proceedings when necessary.
We are looking for a motivated member of staff who will take an active role in the management of a team of frontline officers, and develop new skills in the process.
The role involves the remote management of a team of Responsible Officers who are based in CRC offices across North London and will therefore require travel to your teams designated offices, with 1-2 days per week spent at the Penrose Head Office in Islington, as well as some working from home.
As well as taking an active role in the management of the service, Team Managers are responsible for the support, supervision and development of a team of Responsible Officers. All team members receive a holistic training package, as part of their induction in to the role. Penrose is committed to the continual professional development of all staff through additional training, supervisions and appraisals.
