We are delighted to announce that the Social Interest Group has been short listed for the Innovation section of the Sayer Vincent Financial Leadership Awards. Our Deputy Chief Executive Officer Martin Dalby has been instrumental in developing the Social Interest Group, its focus, its structure and this shortlisting is recognition of his innovative approach. Speaking of the short listing the Group Chief Executive, Gill Arukpe says ’this is a fantastic recognition of the work that Martin has put in to forming the Social Interest Group. Martin has been exemplary in his approach, and I for one am proud of what he has achieved.’ The Social Interest Group (registered in England No. 9122052; Charity Commission No. 1158402) has been developed to enrich opportunities for people facing social and health challenges. The Social Interest Group’s first members provide services in London and the South East. Its members are provider of social and health care services. It brings together organisations with similar missions and complementary services, offering greater strength to all subsidiaries. The founder members of the Social Interest Group are Penrose Options, Equinox Care and Penrose Works Ltd. These organisations provide support, care and accommodation to people with a range of needs including: mental ill health; history of offending; alcohol and drug dependence; homelessness; and people who have experienced sexual exploitation.
