Job description:

About Focus Project:

Our Focus Project is a resettlement support service for men with a mental health illness, history of offending and complex needs. The service is based across 5 sites in Lambeth and offers high, low and medium support depending on service user need. We support our clients to move on to independence or lower-supported accommodation for up to 2 years.

We work with our Service Users to develop their own recovery plan based around the SLaM and Lambeth support recovery model and Recovery Star. We enable this through a range of support programmes and work collaboratively with other organisations within the borough to help our Service Users to reintegrate into the community.

We reduce and minimise risks of re-offending and keep the community safe.  Our early intervention in the management of mental health relapses reduces the cause of long term hospitalisation.

Job Purpose:

To successfully rehabilitate and reintegrate Service Users back into the community.

To provide pathways, support and appropriate interventions that will enable successful resettlements.

To work with external partners, agencies and commissioners to achieve the desired outcomes of the service providing safer more integrated communities for all stakeholders.

To provide cover to the service at night; ensuring the safety of the residents and the building.

Why work with us?

  • Excellent core and on-going training aligned with personal development plan
  • 25 days annual leave (increasing 1 day per year of service up to 30 days)
  • Pension, Eye-care Vouchers
