our services
Lewisham - New Hope
The project is a 12 bed registered residential scheme, providing very high quality accommodation, support and supervision.

Joint winner of the 2001 Health and Social Care Awards and the Andy Ludlow Awards in 1999, New Hope has been widely regarded as a model of good practice.

New Hope is an innovative service providing intensively supported housing for people with enduring mental health illness looking towards recovery. Most residents are ex-offenders leaving regional medium secure units. We are also able to positively support people at risk of offending because of their mental health illness and history of substance misuse.

Residents receive a high level of support based around individual assessment, support and progression plans agreed in conjunction with the resident, referring service and Home Office, other partner agencies and the resident’s carers and/or relatives.

Whilst at New Hope, residents learn new life skills, attend external training, education and employment services and opportunities are supported via one to one counselling and support, together with group working, developing ways to control and manage their mental health.
