These accommodation-based projects assist male and female ex-offenders (housed separately) to resettle into the community. They are supported to achieve this by visiting resettlement workers for male schemes and office-based workers in our female scheme.

Hackney Floating Support

Penrose provides support to vulnerable adults (over 16) to enable them to maintain their independence in their own homes. Floating support services are generally short-term (less than2 years) and will have the flexibility to support a person wherever they live – as distinct from accommodation based services; where support is tied to particular accommodation. Support might include;

• setting up and maintaining a home or tenancy
• managing finances and benefits claims
• developing independent living and social skills
• gaining access to other services
• help to make sure that the service user’s accommodation is safe and secure.
