Community
The people we help know exactly what they need and what type of service would work best for them. That's why we involve them in the development of services and the local community, helping to break down any stigma and improve social integration. We want our service users to become involved in their communities, and in the service we provide.

We help people get involved in their community by:

  • Running forums on our service that are led by the people we are helping
  • Involving the wider community through mentoring, volunteering, cultural events and education programmes
  • Creating hubs where different people can come together, exchange ideas and interact
  • Enabling people to take responsibility for themselves and others through peer mentoring and volunteering
  • Reaching out to people who are less likely to engage and encouraging them to get involved
