Opening doors, Changing Lives
our services
Camden - supported living & rehabilitation
This project provides intensive support for adult males as they adjust to life and help find re-entry routes into society. The project provides transitional housing, that combines a place to stay with other services such as job counselling and search, motivational techniques, behavioural therapies and rethink programmes which are key in helping ex-offenders change their lives.

Staff are on site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and are expert in working with offenders who have a range of needs and who may use challenging behaviour.

Every person benefits from intensive, one-to-one support to help them plan their path back to living in the community. Staff work closely with local drug, alcohol, mental health and criminal justice agencies to provide a full range of support.

Camden - floating support

Penrose provides support to vulnerable adults (over 16) to enable them to maintain their independence in their own homes. Floating support services are generally short-term (less than 2 years) and will have the flexibility to support a person wherever they live – as distinct from accommodation based services where support is tied to particular accommodation. Support might include;

  • setting up and maintaining a home or tenancy
  • managing finances and benefits claims
  • developing independent living and social skills
  • gaining access to other services
  • help to make sure that the service user’s accommodation is safe and secure.
