Penrose has committed its own resource to establish this dedicated employment training team to involve and engage service users in all aspects of the organisation.

The team also provides training and support in obtaining employment or further education for Penrose service users.

Social enterprise is a high priority and the teams alongside service users are developing services that are completely run by and for people who are in receipt of social care.

One such social enterprise under development in Penrose is the Excalibur Project. Service users have received training in how to train, run a course and set up as a venture providing Mental Health awareness training to external organisations and business.
