Holman House is commissioned by Bedford Borough Council to deliver housing related support services for people with mental health problems. The aim of our service is to provide a short term service to enable clients to recover, stabilise and manage their mental health, develop or rebuild their independent living skills, engage with other key services within the locality and access suitable intermediate or long term housing.
About the role:
Holman House in Bedford is now seeking to appoint a Service Manager on a 37.5 hour shift basis. In this role you be responsible for the delivery of the Housing Related Support Service for people with Mental Health problems who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. You will also line manage 5 members of staff to deliver a Bedford Borough Council commissioned short term housing related support service for adults with mental health problems and help enable service users to develop independence and life skills so they can access and sustain suitable accommodation, and to provide structured and outcome focussed housing related support for individuals with multiple support needs..
